Aging and Cognitive Disorders

A class of psychological disorders characterized by impairment in cognitive abilities and daily functioning in which biological causation is either known or presumed. Some cognitive abilities are resilient to brain aging and may even improve with age. In some cases the specific cause of the cognitive disorder can be pinpointed; in others, it cannot.
